Getting Started - Ordering items online

How to place an order (UK Schools, National Trust, Musea and other government see note below):
* We are in England (United Kingdom) and can ship items to many countries in the World.
* To find out how much it costs to have goods delivered to your destination do the following:
* Use the 'Buy Now' or 'Put in Cart' button to add items to the cart.
* Click on 'View Cart' to show items and postage/shipping.
* Shipping costs are by default for UK Mainland addresses. You can change this, read on.
* When you've finished shopping, click on the 'Check Out' button or link.
* Fill in your name, address, zip/postcode and select your country or UK non mainland area.
* As soon as the system knows where you are, prices and shipping costs will adjust themselves.
* You can see how much Faster Expedited shipping costs under the 'Delivery Options' dropdown menu.
* Shipping costs are automatically calculated, based upon total weight of order.
* The next phase is to select payment by credit card, Paypal, cheque, Bank Transfer.
* Finalise order and press 'Submit order' button once only.
* Confirmation with receipt/invoice will be emailed to you.
* After processing payment we aim to dispatch your goods within 2 working days.
* Please use the links on the left of our main pages for help files and information.

Main prices are in UK £ Pound Sterling, we are based in the United Kingdom and only accept payment in UK £ Pound Sterling.

UK Schools, National Trust, Musea and other official government institutions:
* Schools, Musea, National Trust and Government institutions (UK only), can simply place orders online.
* If applicable forward our invoice to your authority - payment should be made within 30 days.
* Use the Schools, Musea, Nat. Trust special payment option in the Check out zone.
* If you wish you can order by phone/fax/post.
* Contact us first to check out stock-levels when ordering quantities of 10 or more of a single item.
* We aim to dispatch larger orders within 3 working days.
* Orders will include a VAT invoice/receipt.
* National Trust, Musea and business accounts arranged.
* National Trust partners/agencies can use the appropriate forms for opening an account.
* This service applies to registered United Kingdom based institutions only.

Buying items is straight forward with the help of a shopping cart, which can be reviewed before checking out. If you have registered before you can log in with your username and password to speed up another purchase.

Payments will show up under th name FIE services on your statement.
We unfortunately can not accept payment with American Express, Solo or Electron cards, as these types of cards do not provide enough security and protection towards consumer and (online) retailers.
We will charge your credit or debit card as soon as your order is ready for processing.
Credit/debit cards have to be in the name of person ordering the goods.
We will need your address and post/zip code + daytime telephone nr. whenever you buy a gift which has to be shipped to a different address.
Items sent to a different address may incur 'Signed Delivery' costs (from £0.95), including mailing the receipt for card payment to the purchaser.

There is no minimum order for payment by cheque, but please allow for 10 working days between placing your order and dispatch. Please send your cheque to our address (see above) and make cheques payable to TOYPOST.

B2B. You may arrange payment in UK Pound Sterling to Toypost by credit transfer from your bank to our bank.
This might take some time, at least 10 working days, before we can dispatch your order.

We are a British company and all our prices are in UK Pound Sterling. We show prices in €uro or US $ only for comparisson and when you receive your credit card or bank statement please realise that the amount shown is based upon conversion of British Pounds into your currency at the time your payment was processed by the banks involved. We recommend XE.com for daily mid-price exchange rate monitoring.

Your order is dispatched as soon as we can process your payment.
Orders payed for by Credit/Debit card and offical school/musea/national trust orders are processed within 48 hours.
Cheque payment and bank to bank transfers will take more time, usually 10 working days.
A receipt will be dispatched with the ordered goods.
Schools, Musea and other trade orders are accompanied by a VAT receipt/invoice.
All shipping costs include basic insurance, special packaging costs and are quoted in UK pounds (£).
We sometimes split orders into 2 or more seperate parcels, which may not arrive all at the same time.
Proof of postage is obtained for all Royal Mail parcels.
Tracking details of goods sent by a carrier company can be forwarded to you by email or by phone/fax.
Around busy times of the year orders might take longer to reach you, so our advice is to order in time (see
Christmas info).
If an item happens to be out of stock, we will inform you as soon as possible when we expect it to be dispatched.
We will charge your credit or debit card as soon as your order is ready to be dispatched.
Special Orders will be charged to your account upon receipt of your order.
  • Terms of Delivery:
    Goods are dispatched with a suitable carrier company or Royal Mail under their conditions of transport. We do not accept any responsibility for any delay during the transportation of your goods by Royal Mail or any carrier company. We will always assist you as much as we can in case a parcel goes missing or when goods do not arrive in time.
