Delivery times Quick Guide:
There are 2 ways we dispatch your goods:
1: By Royal Mail (The Postman) via the Post Office for small parcels.
2: By Courier (DPD, ParcelForce, etc.) for large parcels and/or parcels over 2 kilograms.

1a: Royal Mail aims to deliver First Class post within 1 working day after dispatch, Second Class post within 3 days.
2a: Courier services usually deliver within 48 hours after dispatch, or within 24 hours if you upgraded to this service.

UK Mainland, incl. Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands
UK postage costs for parcels up to 2KG are based upon delivery by standard (2nd class) Royal Mail service, unless you upgraded to 1st Class, Special Delivery or have been notified that delivery will be different.
Royal Mail aims to deliver Second Class post by the third working day after dispatch.
First Class items are aimed to be delivered the next working day.

Parcels over 2KG or over 60cm/2ft in size are despatched by Courier (DPD, ParcelForce, etc.)
Delivery is within 48 hours. Next Day or Next Day Saturday delivery is possible at extra cost.

Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly and all UK remote areas:
Please allow for delivery within 3 working days.

What happens if you are not in or missed receiving parcels?
Standard Deliveries and Special Deliveries by Royal Mail are straightforward - if you are not in, the postman either leaves the parcel at an alternative address or place, or it is returned to the nearest Royal Mail collection centre, after leaving a card with instructions.
Courier (DPD, ParcelForce, etc.) Delivery:
If your goods are to arrive by Courier and the driver cannot deliver, a card will be left with instructions for you to arrange either re-delivery or self collect.
Courier companies may charge extra for re-delivery after failed delivery attempts. Drivers will return your goods to the nearest depot, awaiting instructions for re-delivery.

Delivery Times Standard Post:
Europa
Delivery to Europe is by Airmail or by Road for larger or heavier parcels.
Parcels to Western Europe usually arrive within 4 working days, but expect longer delivery times for Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece.
Rest of the World
Overseas deliveries sent by Airmail (under 2 kilograms) usually arrive within 10 working days.
Parcels over 2 Kilograms sent by Expedited ParcelPost usually arrive within 5 days, see below.

Delivery Times of Expedited ParcelPost:
Heavy or bulky parels over 2 Kilograms are frequently shipped by Courier (Expedited).
From experience we know that Expedited Packets to USA East Coast arrive within 4 working days; to the West Coast within 6 days. Mexico & South America are served within 7 days, a destination east of the UK ( e.g Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand) within 7 days.
* Please note there is a time difference between you and us over here in the UK, when you have an urgent international order! Here's a typical example: order deadline for 3 day Expedited delivery service to North America-East Coast is Tuesday 1pm OUR TIME if you want the parcel to arrive the following Saturday 1pm YOUR TIME!

When is it in the post?
After processing your payment, parcels are despatched by Royal Mail or Courier as soon as possible, not later than 3 working days * An automated 'Order Dispatched' email message will be sent to the email address as on your order.
Orders paid for by Credit/Debit card and offical school/musea/national trust orders are processed within 48 hours.
Be aware that if you order online on Friday afternoon, payment may be processed the following Monday and in busy times of the year (Christmas) your goods ultimately may be dispatched the Wednesday after.
Cheque payment and bank to bank transfers will take more time, usually 10 working days after receiving your cheque.
If an item happens to be out of stock we will contact you asap.
* Always allow extra time in busy periods, especially around Christmas.
Christmas - End of the Year delivery:
Special messages and links appear on our web pages, informing you about deadlines and limited 'New Year' business hours.

Where is my parcel? Goods gone missing.
In the unlikely event of goods not being delivered within 10 working days (14 weekdays), please contact us with your order nr. and we will try to assist you as much as we can.
If a Parcel hasn't arrived within 14 days, we can claim for a missing parcel with Royal Mail and arrange to ship a replacement asap.
Be aware that goods might be out of stock and that replacement will take some time (especially around Christmas).

Enquire at your local PO sorting office in case your parcel has been returned by the postman as 'undelivered'. After a while, undelivered items are currently sent to Belfast, where Royal Mail staff attempt to return the parcel(s) to sender.
Please note that items posted with Royal Mail and Royal Mail-Airmail cannot be tracked, unless they are sent, using Signed For (Recorded) or Special Delivery (next day) services.
If you ordered online and your goods were dispatched by a courier service, not Royal Mail, you should have received a tracking/consignment number, which allows you to track your purchase.
If you do not report a parcel gone missing within 21 days after ordering, we cannot be held responsible for any financial consequences.

The main reasons why goods sometimes can go missing are:
. Incorrect address details submitted (by you or by us).
. Undelivered items returned to PO, subsequently mislaid by PO.
. Delivered at neighbours, flatmates etc.
. Overseas Airmail parcels held up by customs, security checks.
. We cannot contact customer, due to incorrect payment details and incorrect email address (order declined).
. Damaged in transit.
. Theft

Overview of Dispatch and Delivery:
A receipt will be dispatched with the ordered goods.
Schools, Musea and other trade orders are accompanied by a VAT receipt/invoice.
All shipping costs include basic insurance, special packaging costs and are quoted in UK pound Sterling ().
We sometimes split orders into 2 or more seperate parcels, which may not arrive at the same time.
Proof of postage is obtained for all Royal Mail parcels.
Signed Delivery is upon special request or applied when goods are sent to an address different to purchaser's.
If applicable, a consignment - tracking nr. of your parcel allows you to follow progress on the internet.
Around busy times of the year orders might take longer to reach you, so our advice is to order in time.
If an item happens to be out of stock, we will inform you as soon as possible when we expect it to be dispatched.
We will charge your credit or debit card as soon as your order is ready to be dispatched.
But Special Orders (e.g. for bespoke items) will be charged to your account upon receipt of your order.

Terms of- and the difference between Dispatch and Delivery:
We reserve the right to choose which method of posting is the most efficient and economical - our online postage costs are structured around this. But we are happy to arrange Signed Delivery, 24 hrs or 48 hrs Delivery at all times, as long as you inform us about your wishes in time.
Our promise is to dispatch your goods as soon as possible; delivery is entirely out of our hands as soon as your goods are handed over to Royal Mail or any other carrier company involved.
All goods are delivered by our carrier companies or Royal Mail under their conditions of transport and all delivery times quoted are based upon information as provided by these companies.
We do not accept any responsibility for any delay during the transportation of your goods by Royal Mail or any carrier company. We will always assist you as much as we can in case a parcel goes missing or when goods do not arrive in time. We cannot do miracles; late orders might not arrive in time, there is not much we can do about it!
